Now that smartphones can run on batteries for up to a day, everyone wants a smartphone with a large battery capacity. The number of phones that offer a capacity greater than the typical 5000mAh seen in devices of all shapes and sizes is beginning to rise as more brands release phones.
Here are the phones that have larger batteries than the standard 5000mAh battery that you can get in stores, without going further.
More phone manufacturers are now considering the possibility of giving their devices larger batteries so they may run on them for longer periods of time between charges and eliminate the need for you to constantly be near a wall outlet. These are a few of the cellphones that have been formally released in Nepal throughout the past year that have the largest batteries.
6000mAh Battery Capacity
As of this writing, there are just four phones with 6000mAh batteries that have been officially released in Nepal. This covers the recently announced TECNO Pova 5 and 6 Pro, ASUS ROG Phone 7, Huawei Nova Y72, and Honor X7b. These phones not only have large battery capacities, but they also have fast charging times, so you can quickly fully charge your phone.
6500mAh Battery Capacity
There is now just one phone that meets the requirements, and that is the Nubia REDMAGIC 9 Pro. If you play AAA games on your phone frequently, its flagship hardware can handle some power demands, and its 6500mAh battery proves to be a strong selling feature with definitely more than a day's worth of battery life on average usage.
7000mAh Battery Capacity
There are just two phones with a 7000mAh battery capacity available locally as of this writing. The Huawei Nova Y91 is already out of date, and its replacement is probably in the pipeline.
Since the device was introduced in the middle of 2023, it may be more difficult to locate in local marketplaces at this time. Although there aren't many smartphones in Nepal on the list of those with the largest batteries, you may still extend the life of your battery by following these tips:
- If the Smart Charge feature is available on your phone, use it, this shortens the longevity of your phone but lengthens the life of your battery.
- Charge the phone as much as you can while it's off or in airplane mode, as this is intended to keep the battery inactive while it is being charged.
- Overuse (gaming, mobile data) whilst charging could lead to the phone overheating and eventually damage your battery.
- Develop the habit of uninstalling any programs you are not using. It's advisable to keep only the apps you use because some of them try to run in the background (I've even seen some use my mobile data even when it's switched off).
- Tinker with the settings on your phone. While some phones have great power-saving settings and provide you the most important apps to keep running, others offer RAM management and the ability to freeze programs in the background to prevent excessive battery drain.
- Expert advice: If your gadget has one, plan its on and off times according to your schedule. You can program your phone to turn off when you go to sleep and turn on again at a predetermined time or when your alarm goes off if you don't need it while you're sleeping.
